Who wants a cheap, simple, Arduino-based LED controller?

I've been trying to order Typhon boards from ITeadStudio for over a month. There seems to be an issue with the drill file (.TXT ???).

There factory says there is an issue, and when I load it in a gerber viewer, all the holes appear to be offset to the left.

I've used the ITeadStudio .CAM file, but no difference.

I even sent them the Eagle files, and let them generate the gerbers ... same result.

Anyone have any suggestions?

so im out of reefing for a while and give up on this project just cant figure out the programing stuff. so i have a completed typhoon controller that i dont need and an extra pcb with nothing on it. so if some one wanted to make me a fair offer on the completed typhoon ide like to hear what soome one would price it at??? and as far as the blank pcb board first post gets it for free!!!

p.s. please pm me about the finished typhoon as i dont want to hijack the thread thanks

I ordered mine from iTeadStudio and other than it taking a few weeks to get here I didnt have any problem. I've built 3 so far (messed up the first one and only two of he 4 outputs work, so technically 2.5) I generated the files from the eagle files up on the google site against their CAM... Not sure what would be different. I've attached what I sent them for my order.

Can these packages be made available up on the google site for the 2-3 common PCB shops people would be able to use vs. everyone having to generate them over and over?

Having some graphical issues when I used the Typhon sketch. I've got a mega 1280 Arduino with a 128x64 screen. The code runs fine, after tweaking, but I get artifacts on the screen. The more lines I added the more artifacts show up, and then after 5-10 minutes either the left or right side of the screen goes blank. If I run through the menu the screen will come back by the end but the artifacts remain.

I know that this may not specifically apply as I'm not using the Typhon board but I was hoping someone with better understanding could assist me. Thanks.

iam almost done reading all the posts and looking forward to getting started on the build once i have all the parts and time :) thanks for the detailed posts and pictures.

Turns out that I thought I had grabbed a 40 wire HDD cable but turns out to be an 80 wire. Seems my GLCD didn't appreciate that...LOL... Everything running just fine now. Thanks for all your hard works.

So I accidentally ordered a atmega328 without the bootloader, does anyone know a simple way I can add the bootloader or just get this to work with the usb bub cable?

Too far away to hep - programmer at the office that might work. Have you tried flipping the BUB connection over. Some times that is the case or so I hav been told.

I am in Louisiana. I bought this chip http://il.mouser.com/Search/Product...virtualkey55650000virtualkey556-ATMEGA328P-PU which I had read in previous posts that it had the bootloader but everytime I connect my usb bub ii to the board headers I just get a "programmer is not responding" on my mac and "not in sync" on my PC

I am not sure whether that chip has the bootloader or not (can always call Mouser and ask) but I had similar issues with my re-built board. After multiple attempts of it telling me not in sync, I finally got it to work. What I did was have to keep changing the board type in the Arduino upload options until I got one to work. Not sure if that really does anything but it ultimately was what seemed to get it to work. Worth a try at least.

Just curious, This is mysetup. 48v psu controlling 2 arrays of LEDs@ 1000mA. How could i hook this up to my system to control two arrays of LEDs? Just wondering how this could be connected for those of us not using meanwells or buckpucks, if at all possible.
