Who would you sell to?

I would think that your best bet is to cut the colonies up into frags, let them encrust a little, and then sell them either locally or online. It's pretty much what most stores would do with a larger colony. I know, it hurts to cut up colonies you have grown over years, but the frags have a much larger chance to survive in a new tank than a large colony and you are likely to get a lot more money out of it.

Truthfully speaking. I have heard of both Rainbow, Aquarium City, and the aquarium in Culver City buy from reefers.

That's just my 2 cents. Maybe you can spread it out throughout those vendors. Worth a shot. Good luck you buddy.

Heyyyy waaaiiiittttt I need "real colonies". But not the named stuff. the hobby priced stuff .... soooo if us hobbyist get a chance... i love hammers and duncans... euphyllia's. I set up a tank for my 3 and 5 yr old grandkids... they are going to lose interest unless I get some nice pieces in there... They cant wait a year and watch frags grow out. so please keep me in mind if you sell
 
Give examples of what you have, and provide an actual pic, not saying you have duds or fakes but in the past ive wasted time visiting places that reefers claim to have the real deal and end up being bootleg. In other words. Give a teaser here of whats in your tank.

Lots of good ideas here. You have an amazing setup, I don't think you will have a problem selling your stuff. I agree with Rorroreef, don't make a bunch of appointments with random reefers who may flake. Take a weekend off and have an open house.

I for one would definitely make the trip. I am not into SPS, but I remember all the ricordea you had and I am in the market for healthy fish too.

Thank you for all the positive words and advice everyone. I really appreciate it. I'm still oscillating back and forth on what to do, but you guys have given me a lot to think about. Whichever way I go I'll keep you all in the loop. Thank you again.
