I think they away from the puck design for better spread. I don't think they look that bad, I'd bet better looking in person than the black boxes I've seen.

I'm also intrigued by the "Blue" version, who the heck wants white these days besides the 60 plus old timers.

Funny thing I had a chinese box with only blue and white leds and my corals did great. Now I see high end fixtures are going for mostly blue. Makes me wonder if I should get this or a modern blue and white Chinese box
