Wife wants a pink or purple fish

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

I thought dottybacks were too aggressive for a peaceful tank?

I don't want any kind of aggression with having a Moorish Idol. I just had to remove 2 of my Anthias because they were too aggressive during feeding.

Or more lyretail anthias and the male will turn a redish pink with cool spots on his pectoral fins.

Not going that route again. I ordered 3 Lyretails from Divers Den, 2 female one male. Well after about 3 months one of the females changed to male, not a fun scenario. She became the Devil and both males removed. Male Lyretails are a bit too aggressive, even if it is only one. Now male lyretails would probably be ok with most tanks but I am taking extra caution now that I have a Idol. They get most aggressive during feeding and I have to make sure the Idol is eating ok, which it does. Just erring on the side of caution.

I have an CB fridmani. Got it for my daughter who loves purple and pink.
So mellow - expected worse.
The one fish my non-fish friends consistently hone on on!
