A coworker and I both live 48 miles from the office, but in opposite directions. She left at 12:30, I left at 2:00. Took me an hour and 15 minutes to get home, I stopped at Kroger to grab some fruit and at the pharmacy real quick. She got home at 5:15.

Awesome. I can't get out of my apartment because my car sits and spins, I can't even back out, even with some guys helping push it out of place. That was after chipping 2 inches of ice off of it. Great. My thoughts on living here can't even be posted on RC.

You remember my house is located on a hill. I watch people slide down the hill and going into neighbor's yard. That stop sign have been hit soooooo many times I can't even count. They kept putting it back up, but it gets knock down again. (Reminds me of that song from Chumbawamba sp?) Surprisingly it's not struck down from yesterday so far....lol.... We'll see what happens later on today. I watched workers salting the hill last night, but it wasn't helping, cars just can't get up the hill...lol I'm stuck at home today, even though I think I can get out with my 4WD, but I really don't want to take the risk. $500 deductible would be coming outta my $#^@# then going into work for a 1/5 of my pay. :eek2:

Come on by! You need to pick up your float switches anyhow.

Only 2" by me. I did a run to Walgreen's just now. Roads are compacted so traction is good. Juts do not go too fast or too slow and it was easy driving. Of course remembering to bring your wallet to the store helps too.

We live just off of a major road, so we just have to get out of our parking lot, which is flat. I have a friend with a larger truck than mine who is coming by and we're going to Emerald Bay, though. Assuming they're open... I need to give them a call...

Perks of working at a Synagogue. I got regular and raisin. Both fresh as of yesterday afternoon. I will let you know when I get a chance to score some more. FWIW the bakery where we get it is caddy corner to emerald bay.
