i posted a thread seeking it's identity awhile back and someone said it was a ribbon worm... the link to an ID article they posted doesn't work anymore....
it really was a pretty worm... as worms go...lisa

Thanks! I did a search and that's what it is, a Nemertean or proboscis worm. Also called a bootlace worm or ribbon worm. Over 900 types and all are named for their long proboscis. From what I read they are voracious carnivores though. So much for being a welcome inhabitant
