But I'm looking to change services at home now. AT&T just jacked my DSL rate up to 59.99/mo. ASSUMING I wanted the "Pro" DSL package. Plus, their service has been garbage for me since taking over SBC; the connection goes down daily and after placing many service calls to them, they claim that I'm trying to access my DSL service at "peak usage times" and that sometimes the connection gets overloaded. What a joke!

LOL! So your usage is supposed to be dictated when their equipment isn't so loaded? I'd be raising hell if I paid $60/mo and was told my service would only be reliable for certain time periods!
