WTMRAC March Meeting Venue!

Marty,
the last bulk frozen food order wasn't that long ago... I had about 7 - 8 people contribute. And about a year before that, the same. You may have had limited support because it was too soon after the last order.

Making food has been discussed in the past but has not been done since I have been a member. Sounds like a great topic to me, pros and cons of making your own food could be discussed as well.

That sounds good to me!![/B]

Farmer's Market on Winchester also carries everything you need, but commercial fish food makers like Ocean Nutrition, San Francisco Bay, and Hikari use Gamma Radiation to sterilize their foods to ensure no pathogens, parasites, etc. get into your fish. How will you guys handle that aspect of it? Another thing to consider is that they also add vitamins and minerals essential to fish health. How will you guys go about getting those things?

In response to richards quote above as stated in my quote above, we can "discuss the pros and cons as well".

There is a lot of information out there on this just like there is anything else in this hobby, Steve (Dr. Peaches) tried some at one point and was not happy, but I know personally of one individual (Not in the Memphis area) that has fed nothing but there own "brew for 6 years with great success",the fact that it is something for discussion is exactly why it is an excellant topic for the meeting.

I have used a home concoction myself, and we will discuss that and I will also bring some "recipes" that I accumulated and will share at the meeting as well, some that include vitamin supplements and some items that might surprise you! Look forward to seeing everyone!!

This should be a very informative session!!:bounce2:

i'll be coming.
Here is some fair warning: If you have a zoanthid addiction I strongly caution you not to attend! Pam's got some nice and RARE stuff in that tank!

Quit sucking up Barrett! You're getting everyone's hopes up...Besides, I can't take credit, most of that stuff came from Keaton's lunch money stash...LOL! And by lunch money I don't mean his-more than one club member has been shaken down for THEIR lunch money by my son-YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE (I won't be mentioning any names, your secret is safe with me...)

Well i really hate that i wont be able to come into town for this! Im living close to 300 miles away now (a little over an hour on the other side of Nashvegas) and my truck gets just over 10 mpg... And i would really rather not ride the motorcycle that far. :mad2:

Have a good time without me. At my house. With my family. Looking at my old tank.... :mad2::mad2::mad2:

But on a serious note, i hope everyone has a good time!

We will miss you too, True...if you really want to feel sorry for yourself, keep reading...

Just in case I can lure in a few of you that are sitting on the fence...in honor of "The True Keaton" we will be having a few of his favorites, Crawfish Etouffee, South Carolina style Shrimp and Grits, and for those of you who have an 'issue' with eating crustaceans...spaghetti! Of course plenty of bread for soppin' and a few desserts (maybe fudge pie, pecan pie, and/or boston cream pie). It's all homemade, if you need a reference, pm The True Keaton and he can vouch for my cooking skills. ;)

Try to come, I'd like to meet those of you that I know only by avatar...

If you haven't already, let me know if you are coming.

See you Saturday! :D

Keaton's Mom,
Pam

Keaton< My Daughter who is now in Murfeesboro, found out that a cut up smoked sausage and some Tonys seasoning really does "help" with those Ramen noodles!!:lolspin:
