WWC Blueberry Acro

Really excited to get this beautiful piece in the mail today. I couldn't find much information about it aside from it doesn't do well outside of WWCs tank. :-/

So far it's showing nice polyp extension so it seems happy for now. Does anyone else have it? If so, I'd love to see yours!

Wish I had a better camera, it's next to impossible to get a good clear pic using my cheap Nikon Coolpix and LED lighting.

Good luck with as mine lost a lot of the yellow color as it got larger and the pylops are not as deep blue.

I was surprised at how colored up it was after flying from Florida to Tennessee to Phoenix to get to me; the water was 63F too. The polyps are more purple than blue so hopefully they'll color up though. I'll post some progress pics in a month or so. Thanks for looking.

Where you buy?

WWC. I bought it during their Cyber Monday live sale in the other forum. The first one they sent didn't make the trip because of a packaging issue but they corrected it and sent me a new one. They didn't have any more frags of it so they cut one fresh of the mother colony for me and let it heal for a few weeks before shipping it. I'm really impressed with their customer service.

Hey Sorry it took so long Sahin, but here's an update! It's getting blasted with light at the top of the tank and I'm wondering if I'd get more green moving it down a bit. Unfortunately it's already encrusted so it'll probably stay where it's at. Also I'm not getting a lot of polyp extension, another indicator that it's probably not the happiest spot for it.

I had mine way at the top with little success. Then when I move it towards the middle of my rockwork the greens were much more vibrant. I'll post a pic later today. How's the flow where yours is at?

Thought I would post up a pic of an accidental break off my colony last night. Dont see this coral much at all in the hobby which is a shame since it is such a stunning coral.

I got this coral a couple of years ago as a little frag. This is one thing I really like about this hobby is watching a tiny little piece grow into a beautiful coral. sorry about the poor picture, thats about the best my phone camera will do.

Wow bringing a 4 year old thread back. Nice coral for sure and I would love to see more frags around. To aid in this those with colonies of this coral should frag them and sell/trade to lfs and other reefers. This will help spread the coral around and make it more available.
