I added a new powerhead to my aquarium yesterday and after it was on for a couple hours a monster aptasia decided it liked my new flow reared it's head and went on the attack against my xenia frag.
The stalks it was stinging collapsed and were against the rock. I immediately moved the coral and killed the aptasia with hydrogen peroxide. I also put reef glue over where it was to make sure it was dead. The next day later the coral is looking even worse
Is there anything I can do for it or do I just wait and hope for the best?
I'm also wondering if the aptasia liked the new flow pattern and came out or if it's a coincidence and that was just the first day it went on the offense / I could see it.
