Not many yellow milleporas.
More yellow acros.
Such as pink lemondade, karls kandlelight, shawn bennett tort.

My a.coraliniana is the nicest yellow I've seen in person....of course I might be bias.

The two pics are the same coral.......found it as a wild at the LFS. Can't remember exactly where the shipment was from.

i have found a yellow millipora should i get it ? are they rare? it has been there for about 2 months i didn't buy it at first because of the one white spot it had but it has since healed guess i better call him up and let him know to hold it for me .. would love to see some pics of the karls candle light and such .. i need yellow and red bad..

I have had a yellow milli with light blue growth tips for quite a while. It is one of my favorites.

I got my Acropora caroliniana from reefcorals.com. Mine is still a frag, but it has encrusted a ton since this pic. It glows!

I turned down the ISO to -2.0 when I took this pic to reduce over-exposure.

Nothing screams yellow like a healthy porites. I love mine...

I know is not an acropora or anything but their unusual-ness makes for a really nice color and form contrast.

Just a thought..

Of course this picture is pretty rough and since it is an actinic only the yellow doesn't pop, but use your imagination and you'll get an idea. Anything still somewhat yelowish under actinic shines bright when the halides are on...ya know.

Yellow Porites is dead center at the bottom.

I just purchased a yellow milli...while they are apparantly not rare in the wild..they are suprisingly hard to find.

I agree that yellow porites is a nice one...probably the only true yellow coral. Most "yellow" acros are more green than yellow. My pink lemonade is pretty yellow, but my yellow tort, yellow humulus and caroliniana look a little more flourescent green with my lighting. The 24K milli is a nice yellow/gold color.

flyyyguy..that coral looks awesome, but it also looks a little photoshopped??? looks like the ora german blue polyp acro with a little contrast:)? If that is true color..you have the next "hottest coral out there".

what is it called and do you have more pictures???
