Anyone see the article in coral magazine about designer clownfish by Matt Wittenrich?

Interesting article however he states that a snowcasso is a cross between a picasso and a snowflake, not so.
Its a product of two picassos (a. perculas) and the only person to produce it thus far is Doni Marie. He probably should have given her props. They are trademarked. Outside of that little hiccup it was a good article.

There are two other small things that bugged me (and another on RC, I forget who), in that picture you posted, they refer to every onyx as a "black onyx" which is clearly redundant and an unused term. They also refer to every ocellaris as false perc, another pet peeve of many on the board here. Other than that, yes it was a pretty decent read.

Great information but it has an error in it.
A Snowcasso is not a hybrid. My Snowcassos are A. percula.
Snowcasso (TM pending) is a name I created in August 2008 to describe my mostly white (not pure white) offspring of Picassos.

What difference does it make

The difference in currently accepted species; percula, ocellaris, or potentially a hybrid of the two former.

Quite a few folks like to know what species of clowns they are keeping.

Cheers.
