This hobby can be challenging, but I have to admit I've never had so much fun blowing this kind of dough. Hopefully the pix show up- I'm new to posting them. Also, I have to give my props to Ocean's Floor. Awesome selection and service. thx dave

love the pink birds nest....just got a small frag the other week. Mine is kind of brownish orange....supposed to be pink!!!

Elegance, all I can tell you is that I've tried bird's nest twice, both RTN failures, but not this one. They seem to thrive under the most intense light you have in your tank.

Wow, the corals look great, but if I may be so forward, scrape that crap off the back of your tank so those beautiful corals can be contrasted against a dark background.

Mike,

Well, thanks (about the corals). I'm not about to scrape the coraline off the back of my tank. I'm a believer in coraline good/other algae bad. Also, the tank's against a wall. Thanks for the good advice though.

I was talking with Ming at Atlantis Aquarium in Fremont, Ca....he said that most Pink Birdsnests usually don't hold color well and turn brown...when I asked about finding a good specimen of one...I ended up going with the Tubs Pink or Green (depending on light, mine is pink), w/Purple polyped BN

I have 10k lights. I agree CW, pick and purple corals seem to get their best color under 10k lights.
