10' Pond Build

You are a great artist. I am sure you can sell these painting.

I really appreciate the compliment! It's been years since I've painted anything. Thought it might be fun to pick up a set of watercolors and do a few paintings of my fish.

Wait a minute... you must live extremely close to me. I'm 1.1 mile from Fish Drs Canton!! :0)

Those porcs look so good. Amazing what happens when you give a fish enough space!!

Absolutely love this pond.

Right on! How long have you been living in Canton? I grew up there, graduated from MSU in '05, lived in FL and CO for a few years, and just moved back about 5 years ago. Lots of changes since I've been back! For having such a big high school, I don't think I can name 2 people that I went to school with who still live in the area!

I'm actually in Plymouth for just over 4 years. Didn't grow up in the area though. I'll message you and maybe we can meet up at Fish Drs sometime soon.

Hands down my favorite build I've ever seen. Makes my 500 gallon build look like child's play! Fantastic work, I'm envious!!

Thank you again for all of the compliments!

I got a good laugh out of this one and had to share... The other day at feeding time, one of my porcupine puffers somehow got a large NLS pellet stuck on one of his spines. He swam around with it attached for a good 20 minutes, completely oblivious to it's presence until it finally fell off.

Here's a pic!

Nice puffer,
How are you controlling the top off..
Is it just opposite from a sumped system(Sensor in DT instead of sump) since you are pumping out of the DT and letting the sump overflow back

This is a really cool build. I did something similar for a shark pond years ago but I wasn’t smart enough to think to use a pool and I built a frame out of 4 x4s and plywood. I kept mine up for a few years until I too tired of dealing with the massive water changes.

Maybe I missed it, this would make an awesome basement sump in my house if I can get the wife on board. What was the humidifier you use? Do you have a link?
