1000 Gallon Build- Here we go- Lots of Pictures

Just went to the house....they are working away on the cabinetry- should be done by end of day tomorrow.

A preview of the cabinetry going in:

Reef

Reef

I am doing a 700 gal 8 wide 4 tall 3 deep reef in the near future. I live by Tatum and Shea. I am running a 90 gal now to see if the things I am doing is sound and if it may translate to a bigger tank. Your setup is so incredible it's ashame to not run a reef. The 90 I am running is almost maintenance free and the coral doing really well. I hope to convince you to switch to reef. Once the 700 gets going for 6 month to a year maybe you can look at it and ponder the possibilities.

I have no issues with running a reef. However, there are fish that I want that may not be reef compatible I want a french angel, I want a queen angel. Id love to have a clown trigger. I want anemone with clowns.

Ill be doing plenty of live rock- will throw in some corals and the anemones and then add the fish. Lets see what happens. :spin1:

btw - cabinetry install going well. Bottom cabinets are in:

The column is up to the right side of the tank. The top of the tank and the left column should be done by end of day hopefully.

You defiantly need a few of these

Great progress; looking forward to seeing the dream box unwrapped/installed. I think you are making the right decision starting off with a FOWLR. Like many others, it would be great to see this as a full-blown reef, but the FOWLR may let you get a handle on the behavior and workload associated with the tank. With the equipment you have, you can always go reef down the road...

Awesome Klaus! The new home is ready to receive the "coffin". Cant believe we are weeks away from water in the tank. Its been a long road but things happen for a reason. This journey took many turns but Im so glad I happened to find the folks at Royal Exclusiv. Their sump and equipment is exactly what I wanted and needed to finish my home. Its going to be a sleepless few nights while I await the delivery of my equipment.

Jesus. Seeing all this beautiful construction reminds me of why I do the job I do. Not construction lol my 20gallon sump looks like what your sump would have pooped out
