12/7 Swap in SYR thread

I have some brown with peach centers (under atinic lights)
Zoanthids that could use a home.

I have a bunch more of them if I can get them off the rock and
onto something else, I need to thin them out and hate to just
throw them away.

free to good home send my way ha ha and I will not gripe they are not PINK ha ha Put $100 on therm and RARE they will fly out:bounce1: door prize andf hope you do not win them back:bounce1:

I 'll have to see if I can get some more of them off the big
rock to bring along, I figured somebody would like them.

I need to go through my leftovers box I may have
a few dry goods items to pass along as well.

I was thinking about bringing along my neghbors barking dog as a
free to good home item as well..... I wonder if they would mind ;)

Thought I'd throw this out .

Thought I'd throw this out .

I know it is not the greatest time to be putting this up for sale but I figure maybe someone might be interested in jumping on this before the weather turns hot again....plus makes a great Christmas gift!!!

Used just 1 year, works great. I had it on my 125 and it kept it at 76 F. Has been sitting collecting dust when I upgraded my tank. Costs $350. new.

Hey that sounds great a dog, nobody ever misses a barking dog. Can I bring 2 horses free to good home? Will gladly accept a donation or trade!!!!!!!! Tim do you have room in the shop for a horse? Sounds like lots of fun to be had?

just came back from a pre-G.O. party there. shop looks great. Lots of great buys for you guys on top of swap action. Gonna be a good time. I'm going radio silent for the next 24hrs. Going on a wine tour around Seneca Lake tomorrow. Already regretting the hang over. I should be making bad decisions on Sunday for those of you coming to my house.

Can't wait to see everyone.

Adrian's Reef "Silver Bullet" Bonsai Acropora - $15

Tyrees "Misty Blue" Staghorn - $20

1 frag of Bytors "Killer" Tort (which is actually acro echinata) - $40

1 frag of Tyrees Purple Monster - "$60 (this frag will be between only 1/4 and 1/2 inch). This coral is notorious for slow growth until it gets establish. Not for an inpatient coral farmer.

I should be there by about 1 pm

Jer-
I have good reason to suspect ByTor might have gotten his echinata from Playfair (who got it from me). I'm very interested. Can you direct me to pix of it in your aquarium?

captain , didnt you start a little early ? i saw you felling pretty loose last night ! well i hope your head feels good 5 or 6 aspirins always work for me .

Gary, that is awesome! I always love learning about the lineage of corals. I obtained a tiny (1/4") frag of this coral from Bytor at a frag swap in Binghamton four years ago. When I heard he was coming, I checked out his RC gallery and saw a picture of this awesome coral that he simply listed as "My favorite". He was not inclined to sell any of it but I hounded him and traded $60 worth of frags for that tiny little nub. He didn't know what it was but thought it was possibly a tort which he termed "killer tort". After it grew out into a colony, it became evident that it was not a tortuosa. I kept researching it as it got larger and it appears identical to pictures of acropora echinata. I don't have a good current photo but I found this one from Frag Farmers: http://www.fragfarmer.com/Fragfarmer-Echinata-p-584.html
Anyway, I would be honored for you to have a frag of this if indeed it is a long lost offspring. So I will bring you a frag for free, though it won't be huge. If you still have frag of your famous Red Table, that would be great, but if not thyen no worries. I look forward to seeing yuou. I should be there by no later than one if not a bit earlier.

sounds like a plan- I'll bring a frag of the red table.
I haven't seen Tim (Bytor) on any reef boards lately. I need to talk to him about this echinata.
