1200g Woody Horseshoe Reef

Yep. All three pieces were from them. Good price too.
I think we zigged or zagged or pushed or pulled when we should have stood back and taken another pull on the Coors Light:)

Wayne-Not sure what you're paying, but you obviously need to look in a more skilled labor pool. Perhaps Vo-Tech at the local home for wayward boys/girls. I've also heard that typewriter maintenance schools have qualified personnel.

Steve-You know that offer to transport glass. Well.....thanks anyway.

Well, we had a slight problem. As stated above, a 10 footer is now a 8 footer. S#$%% happens. We will get a new piece of glass from Glass Cages on Mon. and be set. Stupid mistake. I told Wayne if the biggest mistake only costs him $300 he is lucky. I will post some pics of the other two sides tomorrow.

Del....thanks for the vote of confidence:)

Da...me thinks...we....not...have nuff beer....

Hey Del, I think we now have your piece of starfire....96x36 1/2 inch..............cheap too!

Note on Sani-Tred as I was considering using it as well. But upon further scrutiny, you need to seal it with epoxy ANYWAY like MAS or west. But you could save money and just use the epoxy. The reason you must use epoxy is for UV protection- the sani-tred WILL break down unless you get their UV proof stuff, but guess what- the UV proof stuff isn't good for aquariums because of the chemicals used to make it. Don't know if I am too late, but save yourself some money and just use the epoxy.

I knew that but I didn't want to use just use epoxy as it is not strong enough for the type of tank that I am getting, The paint or 2 part is just a UV protectant not a sealer.

need pics........like a portly kid needs smarties..MORE MORE MORE....

this is so awesome i wish i had the room, time and money for something like this..LOL and a wife that would let me do it..

We primed the edges of the glass and will be putting it in tomorrow along with shooting the first coat of sani-tred. Will post pics tomorrow.
