130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

Mind if I ask what you do for work? You seem to have a decent amount of money to throw around, I'm not quite to that point in my life yet, but someday :)

To throw around...not at all...

On a daily basis I teach...but also some real estate...

Wow, that is a finicky fish. Be glad you didnt end up with it in your tank only to have it die in your hands.

Sad to hear though, it was a sweet looking fish.

Deepwater trigs, especially the males seem to be very sensitive...

Totally bummed this happened and feel real bad for the person at dd who was cleaning the tank...

But, as you said, glad it happened when it did...and I did not get him doa or have him pass while under my care...

That is a bummer. I just went through your thread... beautiful tank, stand and fish. Ive been thinking about adding a trigger to the tank but just dont know very much about them. What would you recommend that is easy and somewhat calm.

They are great fish with awesome personalities but they can be brutal...

Blue throats, Red tail, and Pink tails are all mellower trigs but it truly depends on the individual, as the Pink tail I have now is a real aggressive pita...

Avoid, Clowns, Undulates, Queens, Fuscus they are mean, esp if large...

I have had lots of luck with lagoon triggers...any Rhinecanthus...they are generally mellower but can also be really mean...again, depends on the individual...

I would recommend getting a smaller trig a raising it- they seem to be less brutal when they become larger...
I would also recommend feeding them a lot as that will also decrease aggression...
But with a trigger you never really know...

Thanks, I really like the Pinktail and may give one a try.

Cool...good luck!
I have had a few Pinktails- kept one for 13 years...they were all wonderful and mellow fish but would stand up for themselves if picked on...however, my current Pinktail is just a mean and nasty fish...

Well cool beans. I used to teach in my hometown but now have moved into technical support, at least where I come from teachers are just not paid well enough for all the extra hours required.

I'm really enjoying your tank, I'd love to see a current video of it.

Rhinecanthus aculeatus- Huma Trig
Rhinecanthus assasi- Assassi Trig
Rhinecanthus lunula- Lunula Trig

I just got a Nu-Clear 522 to use on my tank, and I noticed that the stem of the pressure gauge looked rather coppery. I asked them about it, and the response was that it was brass, and therefore safe even for inverts. The literature says otherwise. Are you using their pressure gauge? I realize that you don't have inverts in there, but copper is bad for more than just decorative inverts.

How is the Goldenback/Outrigger doing?

Sorry if I missed it, but what temp are you keeping the tank at? Hopefully moderately cool for the Garibaldi and the deepwater Triggers.

Oh, and very impressive list of Triggers.

WOW those look amazing and I'm willing to be they will be the best lights on the market once they are released. Ever since the anounce of their pre-order I keep trying to find ways to save money so I can put a few of those over my tank. Maybe next year I'll scrape together enough cash... Do you have a P3 controller? If not you shoud defenetly consider it, I love mine and it is defenetly worth the money to give you full control over those lights.

Can you give us the specs of what you ordered? I haven't looked into them in great detail but I think they have different color fixtures (I'm assuming you ordered black because of the picture). And I thought they had different color options for the LED. I can't wait to see those over your tank!
