I find hermits to be smarter. They, shrimp too, learn to venture out at night or to keep their backs to the wall, ime, snails don't. as a result, hermits and shrimp survive considerably longer in an aggressive environment.

True , my little Pico has eaten all my snails and hermits, snails went first,, hermits were better at hiding for a while...

Keep on posting these pictures and I will be broke after I close on the house..
On the tank setup above, do you have a sump full of established rock or are you relying on frequent cleanings and water changes??

Personatus looking killer as usual. Have you seen any mating behavior from them?

thanks, yes, lol, he is acting like a stud these past few days, but my tank doesn't have the depth they really need...not sure they will actually spawn...

the gp are really so perfectly named.
they are still wildly curious about me even after 3 years.
always out and about and always in front of the camera.
they are really great fish..

that is one of the qt and has a fuge below with some rock in it, not a lot.

Sensational! :eek1:

Love the shot of the baby angels, not to mention the personatus. Its very satisfying (for me at least) to watch juvenile angels transform into adults. Not just the physical transition but personality and behaviour changes too.

this is insane

nice fish... sad to see how many have left and to some of the advice anmd information being given out, lol, just wow...

Curious, you mentioned there are some neat fish floating around out there right now, any word on that first batch of peppermints that was collected?

Any rumblings of another collection effort?
