Hi everyone "“ I want some feedback on my planned stocking list. It's going to be an SPS dominated tank. Any fish on my list I should remove/anything I should add? The tank will have a DIY screen top from bulk reef supply.

Purple Tang (Zebrasoma xanthurum)
Adorned Wrasse (Halichoeres cosmetus)
Radiant Wrasse (Halichoeres iridis)
Starry Blenny (Salarias ramosus)
Diamond Watchman Goby (Valenciennea puellaris)
Carberryi Anthias (Nemanthias carberryi) - 3

If the tank isn't mature and if your not prepared to feed 4-5 times a day skip the Anthias. The 5ft length isn't ideal for tangs but could work providing you add the purple last otherwise he will harass anything added after him

The list looks fine. 5Ft is more than enough space for a purple tang. The anthias should be fine with only 3 feedings a day, though feeding more never hurts. The wrasses need a covered tank as they are jumpers.

I've kept a trio of Lyretail Anthias successfully for many years. Is there a big difference between Lyretail and Carberryi Anthias in regards to feeding?

You really don't think a 5 foot 150G tank would be big enough for a single Purple Tang? That's news to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm doing a DIY cover from Bulk Reef Supply for the Wrasse/Goby. Anything else I should add to the tank that would be cool?

I'm really looking for fish that do jobs (i.e. the Goby for the sand bed, the Wrasse's for SPS pest control). The Anthias and Purple Tang will be the show pieces.

No what I said is it isn't ideal. Being it's the only tang will be fine, just add it last. I'm not much of a Anthias guy so I will let someone else answer that

Appreciate the feedback. I wish I had a 6 foot tank to make it more ideal for tangs but the tank is in-wall so I really wanted height and depth. Any other fish you think would be good to add to the current stocking list?

Honestly I don't think the extra 12" makes much of a difference there are things like rock work placement that are more important than 6ft tank with tangs but that my opinion and we all know that there are plenty of them out there. I'm a angel guy myself so I would have a angel or two in the tank but I'm not sure if that's something you would want with all the SPS. Also Quoyi parrotfish are very high on my personal list of fish and are reef safe
