Man you are good. That's right making some feed switches. My wife is always calling me to feed the fish. This way she does not have to touch the apex controller. My guess is feed switch ?
No I'm old school feeding lolDo you have the apex feeder?
Sliding doors ? Or do you mean hinged doors ?Like the sliding doors. What type of rail did you use and do they have a stop???
Maybe 3 to 4 hours but at the end of the day. Do you know of any issue with that ? I am new to keeping tank outside but I was advised it would be fine. I was thinking of insulating it.Is the sun going to shine on that tank ?
Thank you for th info. I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to go ahead and wrap it up. This should prevent the algae. I was thinking maybe if there is no phosphate in the water algae would not grow but who knows. Better safe than having my wife ask me why I have a green barrel in the backyard lol. Well I will tell the family you said high. As usual you always welcome to come by. As I am off Monday - ThursdayI'm pretty sure algae will grow in it. I don't know if it will hurt anything but it's annoying. You've seen my equipment outside in my little hut. My salt water barrel is in the corner where it does not get sun so that's not an issue BUT I have a few reactors on the wall and the sun just peaks in a few hours a day. If I don't keep them covered algae takes them over. I imagine the same would happen to the salt tank if the sun hit it. I cut the bottom of boys tube socks off and slide them up over the reactors, works great. You'll need really big socks...lol. Just keep your eye on it, you might have to cover it to block the light out. Everything is looking great Jonny, regards to your family![]()
