Well still no sump:( but I have plenty of plumbing
fittings just waiting to go on. Skimmer was shipped out
5-17-05 should have that in couple of days.
Can't do anything now till I get that sump.

Looking great Dave! I am very impressed. I will be starting my 110 RR project in a few months and you have set a very high standard for research and preparedness.
Keep them pics coming!

Well good news my sump was shipped 6-7-05
I'll finally be able to start putting this whole project
together, not sure how long it's going to be to assemble
everything,but I'am guessing 2 to 3 weeks I'll be posting
pics. as I go.

Thanks LunchBucket

I ran a 65 gallon reef for three years a couple of years ago,
and went thru all the pit falls that I read on the posts here a lot.
and made up my mind (if we ever do) to try my next tank with
using the better equipment that's out there now.
Really wish I would have know about Reef-Central then.
I really anticipated having this up and running in April, but
when ordering everything custom or being built as ordered,
all the components have ran at least 4 to 8 weeks over all
the quoted deliveries. I've read so many posts were people
were really upset when something was just a little late- Ha Ha
But I understand that you have, to have patience and maybe
a few beers, to get thru all the waiting. But in the end I'am
really satisfied with the quality of the items I have purchased.
well still to be continued.

be close to 60 gallons when its running.

The only bummer is if you look in the photos you will see
were an 8" piece of the back cross brace was broken off
during shipping, I talked to Andy and he said it won't affect
the structural integrity so he's going to be sending me some
adhesive and I'll just glue it back in. Other wise its built very
well and looks good.

Todays update, received bulkheads for sump today, some how
it got shipped with out them?
Installed bulkheads and then ran a leak test on the patio - whew
no leaks. Fitted sump in stand and started laying out pump positions
and some of the fittings and valves, still I'am going to need 2 different
90 degree fittings that I didn't anticipated, well back to hardware store
I'll see what I get done tomorrow.

Looking good dave, I love that MRC Sump.

I may have missed it but what kind of flow you going to have in the tank. We are also in the process of setting up our 210.

Hey Dave- My only suggestion would be to replace the input plumbing to the skimmer with some 1" ID braided vinyl hose. That will make it much easier to check the Beckett and clean it every few months.

The air flow meter can be flipped upside down if that makes it more visible for you- Looks like it might be behind the plumbing right now.
