210g Things with Stings tank.

Under these lights, it looks like we have a little phyto while we cycle.

Those damsels sure have alot of space!

Damsels???

If you mean those blue spots, they are likely the reflection of the clocks on the stove and microwave reflecting from the kitchen.

Great to hear this is almost done!
How has the back been lately?
(I had to come over here to see what was going on SINCE you havent been on SWF lately, lol)

I have nothing against SWF.... just to throw that out there. :-)

The back is FAN-tastic. Every now and then it feels tweaked, but as long as my nerves aren't pinched, I'm happy as can be.

LOL about the damsels!!! It totally looks like there's some in there.

Next step will be to organize the wires and start labeling some stuff. It's hard to locally find heavy duty black extension cords. I hate waiting for things to arrive from online when I want it NOW!

Also need to replace some of that silver tape since some of the insulation oozed from inside the doors. Gotta tidy that up.

Changed the outlet from the skimmer to a drain hose so we can move the skimmer around to get inside the sump.

The built in fuge

The salt and fresh water drums for the Genesis water change system. The hoses are so we can get water out for the other tanks in the house. I just ordered two more drums to aide in further drum cleaning and so that the one in the shed never runs dry. The two new ones will be out side of the sump shed.

I hear ya.
I also don't like paying for a bunch of extra length that is unneeded, so I started making my own. Just buy some 3-conductor wire by the foot, and a few of these grounding plugs - and voila! instant perfect-length cords.

Maybe I should start to test for ammonia.... I'm predicting it will take awhile as it was all dead rock. I miss the days of the beautiful liverock.

Any updates? This is an awesome thread and I am looking forward to see where your tank is at now!
I think your rockwork looks Bad@ss!

I found this thread after seeing 2 Japanese Redfin Waspfish at a local LSF today. I am completely smitten by them and came home to research before I pull the trigger and found your thread. I hadn't even considered "things that sting" until now... I have read through all the threads here on them and am even more inspired!
Can I ask you a quick question?
My tank is 60 G mixed reef. I currently have 4 chromis all bigger then 1 inch and 3 PJ Cardinals also bigger then 1 inch. The Waspfish are both around 1.5-1.75 inches. Will I need to get rid of them to safely have the Waspfish? I also have a mated pair of coral banded shrimp.
After reading up here I think I should jump on these beauties as they seem to be a pretty rare find.
