27 clowns in the same tank 27 months~Thread of the Month

What kind of annemones are they? I would love to load my tank up with some! I just got a bonus and guess where it's going!?!?!!!

If you wanna sell some ill take some!

Mobert:

I recently ordered a Ritteri/Magnificent Anemone for delivery tomorrow from Drs. F & S for the four inch deep and four inch wide hole in the crushed coral substrate surrounded by live rock which was dug by the 3 1/2 inch Clarkii female and 2 1/2 inch Clarkii male. They are homeless after there small long tentacled anemone shrank back into the live rock out of site over time.

My breeding pair of Cinnamon clowns where homeless when I got them what is now an eight to ten inch Red Rose Bubble Tip Anemone in September 2008. They are a foot in from the right end of a five foot 120 gallon.

The Ritteri/Magnificent Anemone will hopefully make a successfuly acclimation with the Clarkii clowns assistance.

Mobert:

I like the idea of keeping "some" of your bubble tips and adding some Heteractis magnificas.

I am sure you will be successful from what I have read and seen of your aquarist indeavors which has inspired me.

I just took a Friday night time picture of a Heteractis magnifica which I put in the tank yesterday from Drs. F & S to give my homeless Clarkii clowns there own home as the Cinnamon clowns have the Red Rose Bubble Tip.

Big Bertha, excuse me, that is Mrs. Cinnamon to you bub, has drawn blood from the back of my hand defending her home lol

I have removed 20 anemones and added sand in the last few weeks to make room for possible Gigantea addition. I plan to put it in the center where the giant pipe organ is and maybe move the bubbletips over to the right some more...

The clowns were upset at first and a bunch of them tried to storm the Ritteri but they have settled back into the Bubbletips.

How many of the 27 are left?? Dunno, I have not counted more than 23 in a while. Maybe I will put a few babies in to see if they have baby immunity.

Yes, that Ritteri is getting really huge. Makes me wish I had placed it lower in the tank, and yes, the babies are from the pair living in the Ritteri.

Wow mona! I didn't know you were breeding again. Let me know if you have more roses for sale. I need a few and whatnot. I might pick up a few "nemos" too :P
