Apparently, in my absence, the gobies have reconciled their differences and I'm happy to report they are now living together again. And a HUGE plus... The SHRIMP is with them too!!! :yahoo:
Here they are along w/a video.
Here are nass. snails coming out of the sand after food. It's really insane how fast these critters move.

I've had my first casualty in the tank
Thankfully it's only 1 astraea. All water parameters check out ok. No ammonia, nitrite and only 20ppm nitrate.
PH is 8.2
SG 1.025
Others look a little funny. Their foot looks a little weird. I'll keep an eye on them over the days. The gobies are fine and poking their heads out of the hole. I'm feeding them about 3x a week now instead of every day. That should greatly cut down on excess nutrients.
On a sadder note.
I probably won't be building my light canopy anytime soon. My brother was in a motorcycle accident saturday May 16. He was in the ICU at Avera for a day and will probably be in the hospital for at least a few more weeks. I'm spending a decent amount of time up there. When he gets out I'll probably be helping him around quite a bit. Good news is they expect him to be ok, even with the slight bruising on his brain. He also has a shattered ankle that they put pins/screws in, road rash on his lower back, a fractured pelvis, and a cracked L5 vertebrae in his back + bruising all over his body. He is one lucky little sh!t. He would've died if he hadn't been wearing his helmet and he doesn't always wear it. To any of you, wear your helmet when riding your motorcycle. I'd rather have to help him out than bury my baby brother.

YAY!! I finally got some pics of the shrimp!!! :yahoo: He's small and my camera is so old so it's hard to get pictures. Couple that with the fact that he only comes out for a few seconds at a time 
He moves rock/sand out of the burrow and then goes back in. Really quick procedure most of the time. It's really hard to get pics. He is really neat when he comes out, though.
I also have a video of him. I'm not sure how good it is. I'm in the process of uploading it to photobucket where I'll hopefully be able to see a GOOD video of him and will be able to edit out the boring time spent waiting for him to come out.

Now that the three amigos are together now you'll see a lot more of the p. shrimp. Pistol shrimp are blind and need the shrimp gobie(s) to see for them. P. shrimp will try to keep constant contact with the gobies using their antennae because the gobies will tell when there is danger and the shrimp will interpret the fishs' action and dart back into the hole. When the fish are out of the hole, the shrimp will know things are safe and come out with them.

this site has some good info. There's a little debate going on whether my green junk is bad algae or coralline forming. I've also done my first Alk and calcium test so far. I have more tests so I'll do more.

I have some more weird critters now:

You can see pluto moving rock and even flicking them backwards out of the burrow. I'm really please with this video.
And a pic of Mickey and Minnie together. The one in the back is so scared of everything yet. Right after I took the shot it darted back in the burrow.

Yep it is a flatworm 
Not to thrilled about it. Advice was to let them go for now and they will cycle themselves out. Every couple years some members in my club said they'll pop up for 3-4 months before disappearing again. I'm going to suck them out with water changes though.
See how dull my tank is?? That's part of why I want to add a couple corals. Plus should be getting some more lr, if it ever comes? Uncured indonesion. A guy in my lrc is receiving it (most of the rock is his)and he'll cure it all together. I'm glad he's doing that. I'm donating a tub of carbon to him for curing it for me.
