B/4 I am accused of "taping" a conversation, my last post was an attempt to make a point. Producing receipts, sending emails as to the date of transaction, a return packing slip from Aquamedic , are meaningless. So ... I purchased this on such and such date. So what? The refusal to allow the defective merchandise was through a phone call between an MD employee and myself. I guess the packing slip would show i mailed it 1000 miles, just for fun....huh? Mmmg: Yes, I have a colleague I discussed it with. He is very knowledgeable in these matters and I received very valuable information regarding written policies. Thank you. I do admire mmmg for his tenacity. He could well a trial attorney. Peace out. :D

Hi mmgm, thanks for sharing your experience. Just few hrs ago before I read this thread I'm comparing the price & shipping costs for 3 of on-line store. MD is one of them & the only RC's sponsor, but even the total items cost is $27 higher for total orders just ~$300 than the cheaper one (non RC sponsor). I still can't make up my mind, but my mind is keep telling me I should go with at least RC's sponsor (just like I know amazon.com price is higher than others, I still bought from them). I just about to send a e-mail to MD asking more details of the products & want to find a active MD's person usually posting here... then happen I read this thread first!! Now I know, I shall making the right choice.

BECAUSE the cheaper one I contacting by e-mail, his name also same as the one you talk about (BTW, maybe just the name is same but differ person  , but anyway...).

B.Rgds,
Alex

I also defer to MD to clarify through this thread or PM on RC......

Happy Reefing.......

Where did it say I threatened your life??? I simply said I would be behind bars. I could have been talking about BandE to get another part so my tank could get running again due to you being closed at the time the message was typed, unless ya'll are open 'till midnight.

From an outsider looking in I took your original statement as a physical threat. You have to realize that when you type your tone of "voice" or frustration is not transfered onto the computer screen.

Thanks mmgm, I already sent an e-mail to Ben & Keith.
phone call is too costly to me. coz I'm from another side of the earth ;)

Did you read the whole thread? Get over it. We have.

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately I only work two days a week at MD (Monday's and Saturday's), so there will be a delay on my part in responding to your email. I do some work at home for MD, but nothing that has to do with processing orders or emails as I do not have access to this information. I will check on Saturday for your email incase Ben is unable to answer and will try to respond as quickly as possible.

ratched,

I do not know what happened with your return. I wish I could give you an answer, but I simply have no idea as I was not the CSR that spoke with you. I have NEVER heard one of our CSR's tell a customer that the supervisor is "too busy". In fact if one of our CSR's did tell this to a customer I am sure they would be reprimanded for this comment/action. The supervisors do take phone calls also during the day and if they are unavailable (on the phone, in a meeting, out to lunch) at that time we always ask the customer if they would like to hold for the supervisor or we take the customers phone number and have them call back. Again we have never stated none of this happened to you (or anyone else). We would like to be able to see if the person you spoke to left any notes in regards to the order that would let us know why your were referred to the manufacturer.

On MD's behalf.
I do like the responces. Communication is a good thing. I have seen alot of responces lately from MD. At first the responces were lacking.
Argi... With continous replys you are starting to impress me. When I make another order thru MD and if I have a problem I will contact you directly. I have your name, # , and email.

Happy Reefing!

If you could let them know your order number or at least your name, they could look up the order and see what went wrong and perhaps correct the problem so it doesn't happen to the next guy. Is it worth helping out the next guy to you? Somehow I think not.

MD: The rep I spoke with on the phone didn't ask my name. He told me that I would HAVE to call Aquamedic and gave me their phone number. Therefore, there would be no "notes" regarding my problem, huh? I asked him if he would look up my p.o. so he could see that it was purchased only a few days prior. He said "it wouldn't matter. RETURNS HAVE TO GO THROUGH AQUAMEDIC. Readers can review these posts for face value. I'm done.

Entropy: If i want to "help" the next guy to avoid these types of problems , it would certainly not be through MD. My p.o. with them reflects a purchase, that's it, as explained above. There are other"avenues" one can pursue to have published policies honored, if one chooses. I'll leave it at that.

Ratched

Not providing details allowing MD to look into your purchase/issues prevents them from taking action and getting to the bottom of what actually happened between you and the MD CSR. I think providing them information is an opportunity for you to also gain some credibility on this thread.....

Unless you are trying to hide some interaction that occurred between yourself and MD during your discussions......

Could it be that you over reacted during discussions with the MD CSR and behaived unprofessionally? Or did you make unreasonable requests that you do not want discussed on this thread?

I think by not following through readers of this thread will tend to question why you are refusing to cooperate..... After all, up until now you have gone out of your way to bring your issues to the attention to this discussion board......

Are you trying to hide something now?

IMO it would be good if you followed through allowing MD to get to the bottom of this.....

I would also like to give you the benefit of the doubt and not assume you did something that you are now trying to hide during your discusions with the MD CSR.....

However, your refusal to cooperate does introduce doubt as to the credibility of your claims against MD........

Why not cooperate and end this thread on a real positive note.....

Otherwise I truly will doubt any credibility on your part with respect to this thread......

Respectfully yours

mmgm......:D

Please pass the tranquilizers to mmgm.

Looks like you forgot to take your daily dose of Perphenazine and Prozac today.......:D

Try not to miss those doses..... It shows......:D

ratched,

If that is the way one of our CSR's treated you, I do apologize for this. This is not the way we CSR's are trained to handle calls. We do ask for customer names to look into their accounts. We do not refuse to allow customers to talk to our supervisors when asked. I honestly do not know who you talked to when you called and why they did not get more information from you.
