300 Gallon Miracles Aquarium

You're tank is coming along very nicely. Are you happy with the miracles build?

I'm very happy with my Miracles Aquarium, never lost sleep over it which is more than I can say for the rest of the equipment. I was thinking about what my favorite pice of equipment on this tank is

and I came up with the Swabbie on my BKing skimmer. I just don't touch my skimmer at all for month! Every 3-4 month I clean it all up but that's it. I LOVE IT. Second is the Skimmer third is the OM, the tank just looks so clean without powerheads showing and works great. The LED lights are also nice, no heat. Anyway just thinking out loud. :spin1:

Well I made an impulse purchase or two.

Anyone have any experience with them ?

They are wonderful creatures. I have 5 of them in my tank ranging from Dark blue to pink. They get real big though. I have one which is by now about 4 to 5" in diameter. (not the tentacles but the mouth only) anyway as said wonderful creatures but they kill everything coming close to them instantly and they do move around allot. Also be careful with your rock work as they tend to crawl under it with their tubes and throw over things.

Made a new quick test video with the Contour+ Camera.

Small update.

Small update.

I'm now running skimmerless! Yes I shut off my skimmer now for the past 4-6 weeks and my mushrooms and zoas are comming back to life.
The only thing I'm using as a filter is my home made algae scrubber. Wow, I never would have guessed that my water was too clean.

Another disaster!

Another disaster!

Well I have another disaster on my hands this morning, found 15-20 gallons of water under my tank "but contained in my pondliner". After cleaning it up I found the slow leak at the right side of the tank at the return bulkhead. I will have to drop the water down another 3" so I can replace it. FUN STUFF! :mad2:

I was wrong! It's the overflow box letting go. I think this is the last straw. I'm going to sell my fish & corals and drain the tank. I'm done.

dang man i just read the post....i know the feeling it's hard to hang in sometimes when you have a problem like that...hope you keep it but i understand.

Change of heart!

Change of heart!

Will Miracles not warranty it?

I had emailed Miracles Aquarium with my information about the overflow box just after 9 o'clock that night, less than half hour I received a reply from Miracles asking for some more detail and pictures.
I send them everything that I could that night.
The next morning just after 9 o'clock Miracles called me confirming verbally what I had stated in my email and informed me (Now sit down for this one)
they will be making me a new overflow box and installing it early next week! WOW!!! NO fuss NO hassle, nothing. Man I tell you they stand behind their product.
So I have changed my mind on shutting down.

That is awesome. I have heard really good stuff about Miracles tank support. I wonder if they have the same type of service for someone in Arkansas as they do in Canada? Did they say what may have caused the failure?
