435 gallon in wall see through easy sps

Second video ... Lets just say the music was fitting.

Those A. Chrysocephalus absolutely need a mature sandbed, even while in QT. Also, they are a very delicate, passive, and docile fish/feeder, therefore, they shouldn't be housed with predators and/or other large wrasses, let alone 100+ other competition during feeding ! Suggest you seriously consider moving these along to someone who can care for them properly, as they wil likely "move on" anyways, under the current/prospective conditions ...

The tamarin went to the main tank sump
Where there is 4" fine sand bed

Also this morning I woke up to RTN acropora.

The tamarin is doing good in there

I have a yellow tail tamarin that I have for almost a year and thriving he eats pellets now.

i am hoping that the yellow belly regal and the male mask angelfish start eating ..

You noted earlier, in another thread, that you don't have any luck w large angels. I believe this to be partially due to the fact that you seem to just throw fishes around all over the place, in the sense that you just get all the fish your heart/instant gratification desires and simply dump them all together in same QT/sump/etc ...

Finicky, delicate fish must be treated with some "finesse"/individual care and attention, in order to have better success in keeping them healthy/getting them to eat !

Your actions lately, regarding your reef system livestock choices, are ones which will not equate to thriving specimens and/or long term success with both corals and fish.

To be completely honest, I've been appalled with some of these decisions/choices lately ...

No troll here, but its long overdue to be said:

"Just because you have the money to buy the fish DOES NOT mean that you OWN that fish". In any means/sense other than materialistic.

You are not a Wholesale Fish Facility, Lawrence ... Lacking the knowledge/medications/etc to be rampantly going through fish like this, not successfully/ethically at least !

You have a responsibility to ensure these fish thrive in your care, they are not decorations/collector pieces.

You may dislike what I have to say, but frankly I don't care about being politically correct when it comes to the organisms I've spent my life studying being unethically mishandled.

The passion is there and I appreciate/share that with you 100%, but reevaluate your situation sir, this isn't a 2500G display ...

The bigger man is the one that walks away from confrontation.

+1

Lots of people losses fishes everyday...only difference is its not as well documented as Lawrence. He is willing to share his trial and tribulations with us and we learn from it. We see lots of nice tanks with thriving livestock. But very few shares their secrets... thanks sharing Lawrence.

This thread is always about documenting my own build so there will be ups and downs.
You can agree or disagree but by the end of the day its each individuals choices to make.

Not confrontational. Simply stating the obvious, in a way that hopefully would bring the matter to the forefront and promote some change(s) for the positive ...

The stocking levels/density of fishes, especially when being introduced in such a short period of time, in both the Display/Sump as well as the QT, is borderline unethical/greedy.

Look at the videos/pictures. All those different species/specimens thrown together in tight , unnatural/uncomfortable conditions. Stress. Disease. Untimely Deaths are the by products of such ventures.

I'm sure many would agree ...

Either way, nobody knowledgable in this hobby/ichthyology would advocate any of these decisions of late.

The forums are meant for constructive critism, not bashing. Trolls bash, Lawrence meant to say ride off on your high horse, please :)

Brought my legitimate concern(s) to the table, if there is any true concern for the short/long term health and welfare of the organisms, under the care of this owner, there will be considerable changes made in the near future. Hopefully, egos/bad habits/ulterior motives aside, these aforementioned concerns/changes will be addressed sooner rather than later ...

That's all. Any future comments from the peanut gallery/Elk Grove minions can be directed towards my PM box
