47G SPS...Revamp

I'm really looking forward to your thoughts on going all LED. I've seen several good tanks online that run them. I recently put 3 AI Primes over my shallow frag tank. I would say that a few corals look better than they were under t5s, a few look worse and some hardly changed at all. I will likely add a few t5s back into the mix.

I still havent got my camera or replacement memory card from work. BUT I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone so I'll be taking some shots with that. :)

I have the same phone. I set white balance to "cloudy" and it does ok as long as the blues aren't too bright.

Sahin, I'm sure you are well aware of this but I'll say it anyway. Take your time on ramping up those leds. They can burn corals pretty easily. Took me about six months to get the whites on for six hours a day. Once the corals adjusted to the lights my colors got real good and the growth rate did as well. Good luck with them. Can't wait to see some pictures.

The photos come out too blue once uploaded to my photobucket account...look crap basically.

Sahin, I think it looks great. You're running LED the way they need to be run for SPS. I have no doubt that you'll succeed with this lighting scheme. You should try Flickr for photo uploads.

Can't spot the crap buddy:p!Tank looks really beautiful!
At what mode and %,are you running your pumps?

I've never noticed your overflow before sahin. Is it a lot of trouble to please upload one close up pic?

Awesome!! Love it!!
Too blue?!?
No way. Looks absolutely great..
You could always warm them up in photobucket..
That's what I do and my shots still turn out blue. :)
Looking forward to the next few months of acclimation.

You worry too much- and it deprives us of pictures, man! I think it looks great, and that is a pretty good density of Radions over that footprint. If you don't have success, it won't be because of coverage for sure. FYI you can fix phone pic blues with an amber filter(easy) or Snapseed for post processing. With an amber filter on my iPhone camera, I barely touch the pictures for post processing. If you do post process you can do it on the phone. I re- did yours on my iPad this morning in about 2 minutes. Is this more like what it looks like to you?:

Very nice setup. Can't find anything crappy.
Corals are growing and colorful.
How high is your LED fixture now from the water surface?

Very nice. What are your LED settings so we can compare notes. I know we run different manufactures, but I would like to see how we are similar and how we are different.

Tank is looking awesome! Some really nice growth since your last pics. I've mentioned it before, but I really like the layout of this tank. The more it grows, the better it's going to look. Great work! I like that you put 3 fixtures on it as well. Most tanks in that size I'd see 1 which is why I think some have problems with them. Best of luck

Looks good to me, though yea, LED blue.

So to light my tank, which is twice as wide ... $4000 worth of LED. :spin2:

I have to believe that the prices will start drop sooner than later.

Can't wait to see what colors you can get out of the corals.

And I thought I had made sure I got good coverage with 5 radions over my 6ft tank... Guess you showed me! Are you using the 120 degree wide angle lenses?
Looks awesome Sahin
