48" deep dimension custom PVC bottom tank build. 211g.

A big thanks to Bill at Custom Reef Creations Moore, OK, for what I'm about to post next.

The 211g SPS/Angel reef.

In a couple weeks I should have my new tank. A Custom, PVC bottom, eurobraced, drilled, 211g work of art from Planet Aquariums. The tank will be drilled for 2 1.5" drains and 4 1" returns. Underneath that bad boy will be a steel powder coated metal stand also from Planet Aquariums. The dimensions are 48.5"x34.5"x30".

Here is the equipment list:
45g glass sump
Reeflo Dart pump
Octopus External Skimmer DNW 150 (temp skimmer) Plan on purchasing a SRO external 5000 down the road.
2x400w Metal Halide Radiums in Luminmax Elite pendants
2x48" Blue Plus T5s
Driven by M135 Bluewave magnetic ballasts.
Oceans Motions 4 Way
Reef Keeper Elite
80lbs of BRS Pukani dry rock and 30lbs of Pukani live rock.

The sump is almost complete.

It will have two 7" filtersocks, refugium and a frag section. 30" long x 22" deep x 18" tall. Pics coming once its done.

Po4 coming down a good bit.

Tested this morning.

Treated with Lanthanium chloride, let it rest for 11 hours and i Just did a 90% water change on the rock tub.

Hohn I can't wait. Sumps are my favorite piece of equipment. Few things on the planet I like more than a well planned sump

What pump are you going to use on the closed loop?

There is no closed loop. My return pump is the reeflo dart into the OM 4 way then up through the overflow and out the top.

Bottom piece done. 3/4 ply painted and urithaned.

Here you can see two of my 1" returns and the two 1.5" drains.

Still waiting on the sump to be completed.
