Maxima is still my pride and joy
This is one of the frags I got from Andrew and it's doing amaing! Settled, encrusting and tips are starting now as well. I love the colours!
New milli I bought the other night, it's a nice super light pink milli but it's duled out a little in the tank, give it a week or two and proper colour should start to come through
It's looking pretty sweet as is though!
And of course what would an update be without some zoa's to annoy a certain individual :lolspin:
Mine encrusted for about 2 inches around the plug, then it started shooting up from all over the encrusted portion. Once it felt comfortable, it really took off.
How's the upgrade coming along? I have seen a serious lack of updates and pictures for the Radium Reef. You're definitely not hitting the weekly minimum for updates and photo's.

Thanks, zoa growth has slowed a little and I'm not sure why but everything else is growing excellently!
haha thanks Perry :beer: The halide is definitely doing it's job! Everything is loving the change and 5 hours seem to be doing the trick on the tank too. I recently change my feeding regime too and the fish are now back to looking as good as the coralsYep,

I think it's probably going to do the same, everything is going through mass encrusting at the moment while they build their bases a little more. Some of the more encrusted acro's are really starting to take off now though

it's a slow build though! I'm buying pieces bit by bit. Maybe I'll draw out some plans of my aquascape and sump layout and upload those to fill in some pics? Cheers Sahin :beer: I still have a little way to go but I'm pretty happy with how things are swimming along.

Wow that's nice! I think mine is heading in a similar direction!Here is my old coral for reference. It was under a 250 watt phoenix driven by an icecap ballast.
I really wish i could find another chunk of it.

I'm really happy with the changes that have occurred in the last two months with the halides!That red acro in front of the Biggles Crayola (lol) is probably my favourite acro! It was one of the only times I've ordered from the most overpriced and overhyped stores in Australia, they have some amazing corals but the way they do ordering so I basically don't order from them lol. It's a UCA Aquacultured Metallic Red/Green base Acropora Divaricata and the things is friggin STUNNING :inlove: it's still recovering from the restart, it's the slowest to colour acro I've ever keep and some vermitid snails have killed off some of the base but it's going strong along the top and getting back to what it was like at it's peak!

Nice. Sometimes it's worth buying corals you know will color well, IMO, even if they are obscenely priced. I was talking about the smooth skin closest to the camera that is showing red? I think you are talking about the one back and to the right? :spin3: Anyway, now I want to see more pictures of both of them!

Yes I agree lol it was one of the very few times I've jumped on an expensive buy. That is the smooth skin I'm talking about
it just so happens that the acro behind it is basically the same colouration! I did take some more, terrible shots of it for you though!It's my absolute favourite!

Haha well there was a tiny weeny little hyper priced tip that fell off the other day from snail aggression lol it's been glued down and you're more than welcome to have it and out do me on it tooYou will give me that red acro Dom............
