Really great thread. I've enjoyed it. Beautiful tank.
Hard work, research and discussion all yielded a wonderful outcome.

Tang city! Sweet Wayne.
Thanks E.Awesome stuff Wayne, I love the group of scopas tangs, I have always liked them
I love them. I think it's messed up that they were the only ones that went after it and the others didn't even look at it. I guess all tangs aren't created equal.Interesting that the scopas absolutely annihilate hair algae. We may have to throw 3-4 scopas in our 400 for good measure.![]()

I love their sleeknoess. Just something different than the usual schools or shoals of yellow tangs.Yeah that is messed up :lolspin:
At least the scopas are well mannered, awesome tangs. They remind me of shadows or something, very sleek fish.
I only added 240 pounds when I first set the tank up because I was impatient. It looks much better now with the thicker sand bed.Why did you do that?
No need to bruh. I over the sand bed more now. I don't see the bottom of the tank.Lol, and I'm worried about adding another 40 ...lol
Thank you for taking the time to read and use my design. I was going to go bare bottom on this one but if it didn't go as planned then I would've regretted it later.Good reading through all 4,135 posts! Actually I did it all last weekend and stole your stand design but you know that already :reading: That sand sure makes a mess, fortunately I will have 0 sand in the tank this time around.
