Yea I know. That's what scares me with anemones and SPS.

I figure stability is the key.

Wayne, you're absolutely right, I think. I have a pretty big sebae and bubble tip in my biocube and they never move. I think as much as stability is key, perhaps consistency is more so? I *never* change things in the tank.


I snapped a quick picture for the rest of you who haven't seen. You can see the bubble tip and the sebae although they look pretty small.

BTA is easily 4-5" in diameter and the sebae is at least 6.

Anemones find a spot that they like. I've found that as long as lighting and flow don't change, they haven't any reason to move.
 
Depends a bit on which anemone, and then whether it's happy or not. Definitely a risk - both in terms of wandering and powerhead puree. Tank looks nice.
That is true. I think I'd rather have a sand type anemone compared to like a BTA or Magnificent. Thanks for the compliment.
