Really great thread. I've enjoyed it. Beautiful tank.
Hard work, research and discussion all yielded a wonderful outcome.

Interesting that the scopas absolutely annihilate hair algae. We may have to throw 3-4 scopas in our 400 for good measure. :)
I love them. I think it's messed up that they were the only ones that went after it and the others didn't even look at it. I guess all tangs aren't created equal.

Yeah that is messed up :lolspin:

At least the scopas are well mannered, awesome tangs. They remind me of shadows or something, very sleek fish.

Good reading through all 4,135 posts! Actually I did it all last weekend and stole your stand design but you know that already :reading: That sand sure makes a mess, fortunately I will have 0 sand in the tank this time around.

I added a thin layer (1/4 inch or less) of crushed corals over small areas at a time with no negative effect. I did it to cover the finer sand that the MP60s were moving around... Wayne hope that everything is OK in your tank... and we would appreciate knowing what motivated you to do it now... Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to read and use my design. I was going to go bare bottom on this one but if it didn't go as planned then I would've regretted it later.
