I think he is waiting on his DDB (deep dust bed) to form. I think it's up to about 4" now and still needs 2" more to go.

Wish I had found this earlier lol. I had a way you could have sealed that stand, but its obviously to late now.. But anyways, wouldnt that rhinoliner stuff for truck beds work well? Ive used it on many things and just sanded it smooth, it doesnt let anythingthing through, much less some water.
So yeah isnt that 28 day mark coming fast?

Shawn,
Its not a race...it'll be done when its done. No rush, no worries. Its your tank, if you are doing it at the pace you can, then thats all that matters.

Just busting your chops. Like maxxII said, it's more important to get it done right the first time.

Dude, <rub, rub> you're slower than a stroke victim!!
Never mind all that, you have to do it as you can. I am amazed at some of the reefs built by guys with very hectic lives. It just takes a little more time. Is there anyone in your area who could help you out? Must be someone who wants to learn and get their hands wet!

You're all slow as ****.
Nah, seriously, if I had a real job I wouldn't have been able to move as fast. So Jonathan has no excuse....ahem....
