It's like a race to see who can have their point get lost in the empty space of hard returns fastest and everyone's winning. You guys understand that when you do that the vast majority of people glance at it and go "I'm out" right?

Not really because when I type on my phone I am too lazy to fix the spacing based upon hard returns.

Also it is easier to read if there is some space.


Perhaps you can copy and paste all the comments and fix them to your liking so you aren't othered by such things.

I don't think you understand that you don't even need the hard returns in the first place which means no need to fix them after, but as long as you're aware the only people who are reading your messages at this point are also people who are for some reason enamored with empty space then more power to you. Personally when I debate in a thread I like for my point to get across and for it to be read by more than a small handful of people, to each their own. Maybe a lot of empty space hides the empty contents, let your words stand on their own.
 
Fair enough but you took the time to read my post again so it cannot be that hard.

You have been on here long enough to know that somethings just aren't important and you should not get hung up on things.

For example I am sure someone read your comment about the term vast majority above and that reader figured it was a redundant term because something is either a majority or a minority.

Luckily the reader was able to power through that and continued reading the rest of it.

Well I won't post anymore because I don't wish to upset you any further so instead of wasting your time reading anything else from me please provide useful information to the others.

The whole thing is just a mess and the above shows how one thing which might be sold for crazy amounts can be found elsewhere for much cheaper. There will be some people angry if it is sold too cheap too soon as well and will defend the prices like if their life depending on it. Best reefing I have ever done was give newbies frags for either dirt cheap or downright free. Just a month ago I gave away a 8 polyp frag of CAR's to a newb and he was so beyond belief (wont do that to just anyone since I have had people sell my free stuff).

Bottom line is this, people can do whatever they want with their money BUT the greed has been increasing over the years to insane levels and it is mostly newer people who fall for these traps. Maybe it is a publicity ploy to get more attention? Who knows.

I will tell you this though, out of all the named and relatively expensive corals/fish (best would probably be my flame and lemondrop nem) I have....people who come over love looking at my green star polyps, regular picasso clowns or Red BTA and the other stuff is "nice too".
 
Nothing new here, this been going on for years and years, a lot of us old guys here have said this years ago when stuff just started to get crazy, even before the whole 2K per polyp hit. ( people thought we were crazy when we stated that they would be hitting a couple thousand a polyp down the line ) I don't get on threads like these anymore as we all know they come up often now a days. Point is if you think price is crazy, DON'T pay these stupid prices which will force these guys to lower prices as their inventory doesn't get bought out. Hell, shop around as you will find the same exact thing somewhere named differently without the stupid prices and crazy stupid names.

It's weird because I see the picture of the two, but other zoas labeled gb emperor look nothing like either of them. Like it was a one and done.
 
Not I,,Ill never pay that polyp BS game...most polyps come from wholesale suppliers and people make a name up and start charging alot of money..Plus I am beyond obsessed with zoas /palys..
 
as long as there are people stupid enough to pay the ridiculas price,,they will keep trying to charge for it..each to their own I guess

I wonder if they actually put them up for sale. May just be a picture of one they have to grow out. I know they have what they are calling a bounce mushroom that they want $399 for and it doesn't have any bubbles that I an tell.
