A Few of my SPS

Nick....CONGRATULATIONS ON TOTM!!!! WELL DESERVED! :bounce1:

Congratulations on TOTM, like your tank very much.

WE did it!!:bounce1:

I say WE because TOTM would not be possible w/o a team effort. Reef Central for the knowledge that I've gained, you guys and gals that have followed, nominated, supported me and Reek Keeping putting it all together. This is a team effort.

Thank YOU!!!

Congrats, buddy! Amazing.

I saw you keep your phosphates at .2, you use gfo and still are able to keep phosphates that high? Never had any problems with it being in that range? Congrats on totm man, well deserved.

Congratulations on TOTM. Your tank is my inspiration.
can't believe I have a few frags from your tank . The reason I don't believe it is because they don't look the same. Lol

Congrats, buddy! Amazing.

Thank you, Fail_sh3d. You've disappeared for a while so it's great to hear from you!!

Thank you. Personally, I have never had any issues or see any differences within this range or the preferred range of 0.03. I did not notice differences if it gets to 0.3+. What I have noticed when my Phos was 0.3+ was the body of my SSC would turn green.

My ROWA media is almost gone. I don't think that I will be using it anymore.

Congrats on TOTM - tastefully done and fabulous corals!

Thank you, Greg.

Thank you, Miguel. Perhaps you could post pics and info of your tank so everyone can point you in the right direction?

Hey Nick congrats on TOTM! Ha! I can claim to have a coral that came from a TOTM :) Beautiful job! The Red Dragon has grown exponentially and the piece that broke off during shipping is a full blown colony now. Guess it came from good stock :)

PS you weren't kidding about the goniopora LOL It's huge!

Congrats on winning TOTM stonecold. Those colours and your coral selection are awesome! Well done:thumbsup:

Thank you.

Thank you, Bill. The Goni needs a new home, so let me know. ;-)

Nick, it was a pleasure to read your write up, and congratulations!
Well deserved totm!
You have created a truly stunning work of art..
The end result of your husbandry, choice of corals and their placement is absolutely sublime..
The photography was fantastic as well!

Thank you, Matt. They told me that it's inhumane to eat acros and they would hate to see you do that so they had no choice, but to make my tank TOTM.

Thank you.

I think that coral adds a lot to your tank in many ways. It's such a stunner and very different than everything else that's happening in the tank. It's size and color are perfect to contrast those stunning acros colors and forms. It would be a shame to not leave it just where it is doing so well. Really :)

+1 for me too..

Nick, there are so many mind blowing sps tanks out there.. Several of the people who have contributed to this thread own or have owned them..
I quite love the sps tank that is so full of brilliant, thriving sps corals that you cannot even see between them or behind them. It creates an overwhelming look that makes you gasp..But I really appreciate how you have taken a more moderate and almost zen approach to building your tank. It reminds me a bit of crazy4acros (I think!) who made that bonsai style reef in a cube a few years back..
There is something that is just so calming and balanced about your tank that really gets me...
Damn, if we were at a party, I bet you'd think I was hitting on you!! :)
Well, I'm not hitting on you, I'm hitting on your tank!
Your tank has a look and feel that is so easy and serene, yet it also suggests a certain level of discipline and planning..
So... Although, your tank is not a 2x4 to the head of awesomeness, it is very much a subtle and artistic piece of architectural awesomeness..
Not to mention how frickin nice each coral is!!
Ok, I'm done fawning over you tank!!

Congrats..........
Beautiful!!

Thank you. You have a lot of nice stuff as well. :-)

I do like the Goni. Unfortunately, the height of my tank is only 24". Right now, it's a foot high and is covering half of my tank. Looking forward, it will continue to grow and will eventually block out everything that is behind it. This is 1 coral that I will be selective with the new owner as I do want it to continue to thrive.

Congrats nick!!!
Can't find something different to say that the other guys didn't,in order to express my admiration buddy!

So...+1 to every comments made above and a big thank you for the inspiration:beer::celeb2:
