A few of my SPS

:headwally:
A few through the glass straight on shots because I didn`t feel like using the top down box.

Here is a fairly recent addition that seems to coloring up slowly but surely.

I have been nursing this frag of red cyphastrea decadia along for a couple of years and it is finally taking off.

The caroliniana is a stunner for sure, it's a bummer that you have a "nemesis" in the Plana. My nemesis is Tenuis :headwally:

Love that caroliniana, mine is green but I really like the color in yours. Beautiful piece
Thanks I have high hopes for it.
wow nice sps collection looks to me that they are doing great your hard work is paying off.
Thanks for looking and your feedback

Thanks - yeah I don't know why plana is so uncooperative but this one seems happy so far. Incredible polyp extension after lights out.

Even though this picture isn't well focused I like it for the cool contrasting colors.

Slowly getting color back and more yellow in person - this acro is becoming one of my faves in the tank

This humilis is finally showing some promise after being in the tank for the past 2 years.

Okay I know this isn't sps but I dig this piece none the less. Reminds me of a river flowing down from the mountain. Making a great recovery after have several inches of flesh raked off if by a nasty pink XL Brittle Starfish earlier this year.

Its looking good Greg! Those thickly branched corals like Humilis are pretty tough to keep happy, I'm glad its finally growing for you!

Those pink polyps in the second pic made me cryyyyyyy:sad2:
Awesome coral!

Looking good Greg! Glad you did not pack it up, sometimes a weekend of deep thought can get you re-inspired, or at least any project reef related seems to get the juices flowing again, for me, lol.. You are a pioneer, I have always been an avid follower of your tanks and pictures, you have a blue thumb for sure :)

Yeah tank still looks stunning would never have known you had Those problems recently. Those and view shots of yours are always awesome

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and concern.
The bleeding has stopped and dead stuff taken out and some new corals added. There were a few factors - a virus/bacterial infection of some sort and on top of that I discovered I had a blocked inlet hose on my ca doser and hadn't been testing so the the level dropped to 260 which allowed the alk to get up to 16.5 DKH. YIKES!!! Even though I already knew this it is another lesson learned - Don't get lazy & always keep up on water tests at least every 2 weeks even when you think everything is fine.
I also found the cure for my mojano infestation - raccoon butterflies are making short work of them. They also eat LPS and nip at sps but it has been worth it. I believe I will be able to catch them with a fish trap baited with a mojano rock so I am happy. I took most of my LPS out of the display so they don't eat it all. Once they are finished with the mojanos they will be kept in the sump until I need them again.
Oh man i been gone and i find out your great looking tank was going through some issue got me all worried one of my favorite glad things are turning around hope it keeps getting better

Looking good Greg :)
Thanks Andrew - still have a long way to go but things seem to on the right track again.

Thanks, Perry. Yeah I have been a little more motivated since the RTN stopped.:headwalls:

Even post apocalype your acros look stunning, congrats on the recovery
Thanks for saying that but it has a long way to go before I will be happy with it again.

Thanks for your continued support over the years. Things are on the mend but not where I am happy with them yet. That said I am on holidays in Mexico as I write this so hopefully things continued to improve in my absence.

Darn!! Every time I go away I expect to lose some corals but this time it hurt more than usual. No idea what happens in my absence.:headwally:
