A Low Country Reef Tank....one more final upgrade

Oh okay well I don't have to worry about heat since I still am stuck up north lol. Just to clarify with the dart pump the motor itself runs very hot for me. The pump casing itself does not get hot or transfer heat to the water that I am aware of.

They definitely add heat to the water. In the summer I have upper threshold on my three ReeFlo closed loops and if they kept going my temps would keep raising, even in the basement.

So after looking at power consumption, gph, cost, reviews, customer service I narrowed it down to reeflo or dolphin and I think I am going to go with the dolphin diamond amp master 4750 with type seal 3. I will wait for a sale to come along and try to get 10%.

Now on to debating whether to upgrade my skimmer. My ATB 10.5 did a great job but I am thinking about upgrading to a 12.5 external that is currently for sale.

Got the clear to close from the bank and the builder today. Closing is set for Friday at 3pm! Tank should arrive the week of the 19th!

Not too much....house should be completed by the 28th and closing is set for 4/10. I'm cautiously optimistic that these dates will hold. The tank is set to arrive the week of the 14th. From there I hope to have it set up and ready to go by the end of May but since we are going away for two weeks in June I will probably wait until we get back to officially start it.

Thanks Nick!!!! Not sure on the exact date yet but it should be in transit by the end of next week. I hope to have the stand built before it arrives but I have a lot of "house" that I have been told that needs to get done before I can do anything on the tank.
