ABC Reefs Fall Frag Swap

Thanks to everyone!

Thanks to everyone!

I was great to see such an active salty community all in one place. Thanks to everyone who brought stuff and sent me home with frags and my pockets a little lighter.
Please keep me in the loop for future events. This was fun!
Scott.

Who all set up and where were you guys at?

A ton of people and really hard to talk to everyone because i didn't want people to miss an opportunity at a sale.

Thanks everyone for making it happen. Fantastic shop.

Thanks ABC folks for putting this together again. Really awesome to have this sort of event in this area to bring the community together. It's always great to see old friends and make new ones.

Thanks Pascal and Lang for the corals, everything is looking nice. Lang, that one paly frag is amazing. I dunno what it's name is - it's the one with the flecks of really pale blue near the mouth?

Mike, the triggers just finished acclimation, I wanted to take it slow because of the difference in salinity. They dove into the rocks and are hiding but overall looking healthy. They're nice and fat, for sure!

Already looking forward to next year! If anyone wanted any of the gorg frags but didn't get a chance to grab them, lemme know, I've got plenty.

Frag swap was great this year! Wish I could have stayed longer and had more money to spend but I got a few nice peices! Jason fox's frags were awesome. I picked myself a blue summit monti to go with my superman monti :)

Great swap!! Thanks ABC and everyone for bringing some excellent pieces. There was something for everyone in a reasonable range of prices.

We are glad to have been there, and to have meet many wonderful people, it was fun, thanks ABC for another great swap!!

hi Nate, i believe those are called majicans, interesting under your lighting you see blue near its mouth, i think the price of them are worth 100x now, hehehe :lolspin:

Swap was great! Jason fox was awsome. Great pieces fairly priced compared to his site (plus no shipping). And he was a nice, cool, modest guy. I actually was talking to him and didn't know who he was untill I overheard people talking. Then I saw his shirt and put it together. But everyone's stuff looked awsome and I am happy with my pick ups from j fox and Kien as always. Even though he lives literally 2 miles from my house and I see his stuff all the time, guess I just like driving 1.5 hrs to buy it lol.

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out!! It was a great turn out this year and we were so happy to see so many new faces in this hobby! Can't wait until next year!!

I had a blast!! First time setting up a tank and it went well.
It was great meeting more people on here and seeing a new store. Food was great and man were their a lot of people in and out!

The store is awesome and if your in the area and never been i highly recomend stopping by and checking it out!!

I hope everyone who bought a coral from me is happy and the corals are doing great. It was great trading withyou everyone also! Got some cool corals my self!

Where was your tank setup?

i had the 20 high with 4 bulb t5 in the back by the look down tank. I was right next to all the guys with all them crazy acans, chalices and zoas.

Oh, and may I say how delighted I am to see all the reef keepers in Syracuse. ABC is largely responsible, at least for bringing us out of the dark corners into one great meeting place.

Really great for the hobby.

Think of 20 years ago when guys like Gary M would drive to DETROIT to get a piece of acropora that no one thought would survive.....

Yeah that's the one, confirmed with a google images search. Though I have to say the ones you gave me look more vibrant than any of the ones that google found. Thanks again, I love them!

Been really busy the past few months and haven't been aroung the forum or abcreefs in that time. Was really looking forward to making the swap ,but priorities have a way of interfering with plans.

Judging from the comments here it looks like it was a good time, definately my loss. Wish I had made it.
