Hopefully in about 10 days. Already moved all livestock out of a 40 cube last week into the basement 75 tank. I lost 1 Percula clown and one Dartfish so far - but neither were doing really well in the tank they were in before the transfer- other fish were out competing them for food terribly. The other fish and all the corals that were transferred are doing very well. Still have to transfer livestock out of the 65 and put it in the basement 75 in what will end up being the refugium. I tested the new tanks in basement today and Ammonia is zero, Nitrate is just readable. Have moved a few corals over and they seem fine = Zoa colony rock, an Acan frag, a Fungia frag. Also moved a superman Monty frag and one broken off piece of a Birdsnest today . If they do well then I think I am good to start accelerating the transfer.

I also still have to seal up the exposed wood from the modifications we just did on the canopy.

Its yours... It is not a pink Birdsnest. I have never seen this variation= kinda like a bird of paradise, but not quite.

****update******

Have begun moving corals to temporary home .

What time after 1 pm works for you?

Worked on plumbing behind new tank today after I finished making the holes/slots for return plumbing into canopy.

Fetta- are you going to be home on Sunday? to move that 180- to Jamie's? WE are also going to move my new tank into the house from the garage that day and I think it would be prudent to move yours first as it will be much simpler.

Yeah !! ALL live stock moved into their new temporary housing unit. I even got the Cleaner shrimp and the serpent star moved. THE wrasse was a pain to catch - as predicted. Was down to 2 rocks in the 65 before I could corner him. And as predicted - the Cherub Angel and the wrasse are doing "the domination dance" - should be no issues within a few hours as the wrasse is much bigger.

Very good- all livestock out , just water and a few rocks/sand, and it is still cycling. Got my Radion out. Will drain the water and take out rocks/sand this evening. Cant get out the skimmer or the fuge light until we lift off the tank.

OK - The 65 tank/stand/canopy/sump given away locally. "Playing it forward" as this equipment was given to me about a year ago getting me back into the hobby.

PROGRESS PICS:

This is in living room where the edge of tank will go - note the kinda weird hardwood floor . When I bought this house it had a " raised brick planter", which we took down and you can see its exact dimensions where we made a hardwood flooring "patch". I was afraid I would have to cut holes into my "patch", but instead I was able to go thru the wall down through the basement ceiling. See next pics.

I have one more 1 1/2 inch pipe to get through and then I will be stuffing the area with insulation for both temperature control , and noise control = I don't want to hear the pumps or skimmer when sitting in the living room.

Wow Ted, I wished we had considered going down the wall instead of the hardwood floor. O well too late now for us but I am glad that you thought of that.
