Acer's new build thread

If you can use a hypodermic needle and inject some Weldon into the crack itself and the clean and glue the base and bubble plate back you should be golden. Like we talked about, it's an in sump skimmer so a little leak here or there shouldn't be a problem.

Tractor supply sales needles.

I actually have Hypodermic needles. Great for shooting kalk-water into Atipsia. Need to find some Weld On #4 locally - anybody know where to find it.

The aiptasia is how I know Tractor supply has them. Bought them years ago and now not even sure where they are. :)

How about aquaworld for weldon?

Kevin

Jeff doesn't have any?

I think there are also 2 acrylic suppliers around. One on 910 by Kress I think, and 1 in Cranberry. Don't know if they sale to the public.

Kevin

Laird Plastics is on 910.

IPS dealer locator number 1-800-888-8312. to see if anyone local carries it.

Ok , first coat of that nasty appliance epoxy paint on the cabinets and the 75 stand. That stuff stinks.

Not sure I would weld on 4 for the repair. I would probably use 16 since it's thicker and will allow you to work with it more. 4 is like water thin

Yes, and I don't have an applicator. I do have the thicker stuff as well. I think it is 16. I'll check when I get home.

I have weld on 16 - but it is old and while the tube is soft - I cant get any out of the tube opening. SO, either it is "expired and worthless" or I need to poke a hole it the opening - like you do with superglue, and the stuff inside is fine.

Zelie- I think am going to need quite a bit - so I will just order it from Amazon- thanks anyhow. Unless you have a bunch of it you think you wont even use - then I will buy it off you.

Edit- yes Weldon has a shelve life- 3 years apparently- and I think mine is much older than that- so to the garbage it goes.
