Here is mine"¦ slowly colouring up.

I have another one which is still brown"¦. I'll see what it does in a few weeks time"¦.

Wow, this is one sick piece. When does the line start for frags of this? lol

I have 9x400w halides and 12 T5 over 6ftx8ftx3ft.
This piece sits about half way up, directly under a halide. I think the colour would be even better if I raised it.

My flow is extreme. I have 7x MP60 and a 250,000 l/h special order Abyzz /Triton propellor pump. The coral sits in high indirect flow...

So... high light, high flow. :lmao:

I though I had mine in high enough light and flow, but it has not colored up like yours has. I'll try more of each.

Thanks.

I just picked up my second today the first rtn and I fragged a big piece I think it only dies good with alot of light and flow mines right below a 400 watt radium and finally getting color

Would be interested to see more of these, to get to know how best to place.

My one above has changed a lot!. It's much more blue/ purple now. The growth tips are also much thinner...

Woah! Definatly odd growth, what kind of flow and light is it under? Are you sure it's a spath? Amazing color!

Nice work, Jim.
What's the position?. Is it in high light/ flow?. Radium?.

Definitely a Spath. Above pic is the same coral. It came in with a slight tone of Green in the base on a wild Aussie shipment of Spath's!. I think it's the Purple/ Green version, but mine has turned almost all purple/ blue.

Top pic is about six weeks after intro. Bottom is a couple of months on.
It's in heavy indirect flow"¦ You can see it's leaning slightly in the direction of the flow!. It's about 18" down with 400W Reeflux 10K over it.

Do you have a Spath?. It would be good to see pics of how these are turning out.

I'm surprised its getting thinner branches .... Still looks great

Me too!. It could be that they will fatten up though?…. i.e. elongate before they bulk up.

Or it might be a mille! :lmao:. Great colour for a mille though?!, but it doesn't have mille polyps!.

Very nice Moser. I've been looking for a nice blue variant for quite some time.

Top notch pictures, tank and build.
