AEFW or Other? Pix inside

AEFW bites are usually pretty defined round bite marks. Yours look like damage that results from handling.
I would look for egg clusters around the bases of your acros or around any dead areas and then give it a bayer dip to see what falls off.

Looks like it could possibly be but not certain. Like the previous posts say their bite marks are usually tiny pin size perfect circles. Look at all you acros and see if you see any perfectly rounc tiny circles. Also like suggested dip one and see what falls off. If you can look around and underneath the bases for eggs they are much easier to spot than the worms on the coral. Good luck and hoping its just from stress.

I will add that the bit marks are easier to see on the shaded part of the coral, like the underside of the branches.

+1 on not AEF's, the bite marks they leave are much more defined. One sure way to see if you have AEF's is to take the coral out, and look for eggs on the bottom and undersides of it. ou can use a magnifying glass to confirm if you do find something. I've included images from years ago when I went through a battle with them. The first image is of the bite marks on a Purple Bonsia, and the second image with the eggs is of a Yellow Tort, when I first discovered them. Unfortunately, I lost this colony and several others even after pulling them from my DT and running a strict QT regimen.

What are you tank parameters, and are the corals new to the system?

Thanks all

I was thinking the same about the defined bite marks.
I haven't seen anything that looks like eggs.

I had a small alk spike fun 7.7-9.3, and it looks like this one went south.

I've been experiencing poor pe on a few pieces lately, but parameters are pretty spot on. Not sure if lighting could be involved since my bulbs are 9 months. I have new bulbs on order.

Thank god my friend! Have u had any temp swings lately?

It does look like bad handling...or a result of basting...or even AEFW's. Hard to tell because like the others say AEFW bites are quite defined...

The only way to know for sure is to take it out and baste to see if anything comes off.
