All sps tanks

sunnyx, how much time do you spend cleaning your glass? That tank looks as clean as a 1 day old tank but with large corals

Hello :D

My glass doesn't really put on much algae but I will run the magnet whenever I am not busy and near the tank. I could go about 10 days before I would have to clean the glass but I try and clean it every couple days. The wall directly behind the tank is painted a light blue which really gives the tank a sense of depth when looking at it in person.

Nothing destroys the illusion of a pristine reef than a dirty viewing pane. ;)

That is an awesome efflo Mark728. Where is it in terms of your lighting?

I have two efflos that are coloring up VERY slowly. I've had them for about 4 months and they are growing but just showing hints of blue/purple. I'm thinking more light would help. Mine are about 12 & 16 inches below a 250W XM 20K with T5 supplements and med-strong random flow.

Hi thats under a 400w 10k reeflux and 2 t5 ati blue plus plus 4 uri vho super actnic ,and its getting high flow ,Thank you
 
120õ60õ60 cm. 2x250 W 20000K . Skimmerless system. Calcium|Hardness supplements are added with balling. Algal filter with Chetomorpha 60l . Chemical filtration: Purigen and Korallen Zucht carbon.

There's some really beautiful tanks on here!! I'm glad this thread is still going strong!


Mine has some ways to go until I'm completely happy, but it is an SPS tank!! Here's my 120g SPS reef.
