Just amazed again by Marinedepot.

Since when does and item labeled as in stock and shipping from your west coast warehouse = shipping from Henderson NV?

Why don't you tell your customers (now ex) the truth instead of miss leading them?

This is why BRS has won my devotion now. I regret my recent order totaling over $1800. But rest assured as I fullfill the other 4 lights, apex controller, heaters and reactors I'll be hitting up BRS.

Thanks for hearing my grip and happy reefing and misleading your customers.

That is best case scenario for you; out of state so you wont eat tax and it will arrive in a day or two via ground. What exactly is your issue here? How in the world was that misleading?

I guess I don't see the problem. Did you receive the items you ordered? Did they arrive on time? Are these items in brand new, working order? Who cares which warehouse they shipped from?

Ok lets all understand that west coast does not include any location not on the west coast. Nevada is not west coast!

I'm in San Diego and usually ordering from MD we receive the items next day. Big deal when your planning on taking off work so you can sign for the packages.

So when you buy an item from MD and right under the price of that item it says "in stock" and where it's shipping from, you rely on that info, or some of us do.

So why put shipping from the west coast when it's actually shipping from Nevada.

Really does not matter anyways as I never did receive a shipped email.

Like I said, it was a rant about misleading a customer. But apparently saying one thing and doing another is tolarated by a few of you judging by your comments.

First, we would like to thank you for your business and apologize for the confusion. We would also like to provide some clarification. We definitely do not want our customers to feel mislead. Our goal is, and has always been, to improve the level of service to our customers. The reality for most online companies is that Amazon Prime has changed customers’ expectations for shipping times. We are doing our best to be more competitive and reduce shipping times to our customers without charging higher shipping rates or marking up our prices. We are in the middle of adding a warehouse in Nevada. Southern California customers will still receive their orders the next day, so there is no change in the delivery time. This factor was very important in our decision. The great news is that customers in the central part of the USA will now get their Marine Depot packages a day quicker.

West/East coast was the best wording we can come up with to let our customers know how quickly they can expect to receive their orders since majority of customers tend to think of their location as west, east or central. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and we apologize once again for the confusion.

I got into this hobby when I realized a good aquarium kept me from feeling like the OP.
A west coast location doesn't have to be on the beach. That, and..., wait, what WAS the problem?
Ok, I get it, you're ridiculous. Yeah, that's it.
Okay world, what's next?

I could go on, but then I'd be ridiculous. But this was fun!
