Amazon LED find, Thoughts?

Still a basic black with "better" LEDs. The BridghLux LEDs are cheap.

Look at the SBreef Lights, they upgrade the entire light and use high quality LED, mainly Cree and yet the prices are very reasonable.

Thanks, Ill add those to my list to consider when I upgrade from 55 to 90.

I'd appreciate some other opinions as well. I know the lighting choices are plentiful and everyone has their favorites. The main objective in mind is quality at an affordable price. The high end name brands have price points that are off the chart.

Thanks Ron. Again I like the timer built in (less junk to fit under the stand) and I've got mostly soft coral. I'm sure I'll dabble with LPS at some point.

Epistar and Bridgekux licensed their manufacture technologies to many led manufactures.
Saying Epistar is better than Brightlux is just, a lie.
Don't waste your money to replace the led boards.
Just to say, Marsaqua and Reefbreeders do not "shoot in the dark" in designing their led.

I find it interesting in the original linked Amazon product description "The light is full spectrum with our proprietary layout, which is contributed by thousands of ReefCentral members, has had years of success."

Is this just a claim or did folks here actually contribute feedback?
