Anemone Choices

We've had our reef tank for a quite a while now. Our pH, nitrate, nitrite, etc. are all normal. We do supplement the tank for trace minerals, calcium, etc.

It's a 55 gallon. We're running a 216W T-5 fixture. We've got 65lbs of LR and a deep sandbed. Stock-wise: various snails and hermit crabs, 1 Hawaiin Feather Duster, 3 (soon 4) Pulsing Xenia, Duncan polyps, a Bubble Coral, and some Zoo's. We've also got a Court Jester Goby, and 2 Ocellaris Clowns.

My mom won't quit buggin me about getting an anemone. What do you guys think? Would it be safe in our aquarium? If so, what species do you recommend?

Thanks for the imput!

If it's your first anemone a BTA wuld be best. A BTA and a RBTA are the same just that the RBTA are more pricey due to color variation.

Any BTA would be my choice too! One of the more temperamental anemones and great for a beginner.

Also sent you a PM!
