I once thought it was a malu, but was corrected by the "pro's" that it's a crispa. It's been 8" on a good day, for the last several or more years. I once thought crispa got large...
It's purple, but the photo is almost all white.

My 10 gallon nano. I've had this guy for so long, I can't get to a place to get rid of it. It's got a flourescent green disk in the correct spectrum lighting, with orange textured looking tents. It's taken all different forms, long tents, short bubbles, and everything inbetween. It has NEVER split on it's own, just grows to 16"+ if I feed it a lot. Doesn't play nice with my other nems. It's different than all the other BTA's I see, never splits and can get quite large if I let it. It's like that old comfy pair of shoes one can't throw out.

Reef1589, I'll keep you in mind if I ever go there, but this will be the last thing I get rid of. Daughter wants my 210 for her turtles, she may get her wish some day, but not today! :)

if you ever "get to that place"...PLEASE Dave...let me know :p

or I can just show you how to MAKE it split...LOL! j/k

Sure thing Craig! I've done the manual "split" a few times, just not in a few years... Just did one a couple weeks ago, but the kids got me distracted, (you know how that goes!) as soon as I got it on the plate, and it was more of a 25/75 cut, and the 25% ended up behind a rock out of light, and turned to a blob. I'll cut one for you, but you have to come and get it. :) Give me a couple months - hit me up... And, I wouldn't mind knowing you have one, so if I did get rid of it, and want one back years later, and it's still with you, I know where to get one! :)

 thanks Dave!!!....LMK and I can have a Rainbow BTA split for you if you want it :D

Cheers! :artist:

Craig, I thought this would be kind of cool. This is the same anemone I posted above, but in different tanks, different lights, different water, different years.

Some think that just because they ball up makes them a mag... not.

Above is all the same anemone, just different tanks, environments, lights, and years. :)
