Angelfish fans come on in...

I am going to say it is some sort of insane hybrid or aberrant fish. I can't see copp's being this excited about anything less. I am going to guess something totally out of the ball-park. I'm going to say its P. chrysurus x imperator with some extreme aberrant color form.

Guys... :)... the object here is not to read into my mind why I started this thread... or extrapolate what this fish might be because I posted it and it must be something... just BASED ONLY ON THAT PHOTO tell me what you think the fish would be! :) There is a point to this thread... :)

Okay... the rough tally so far... I'm going to use common names for simplicity and to keep everyone involved...

majestic- 2
blueface- 2
chrysurus- 3
asfur- 1
koran- 3
maculaosus- 2
maze- 1
majestic/blueface hybrid- 2
chrysurus/emperor hybrid- 1
coelacanth/zebra hybrid- 1

Okay... moving on to another fish here is picture 2... you're welcome to still guess on the first pic, but just be sure you clarify... again please do not read into this thread and these fish I'm going to post... just based on the pics let me know what you think the fish is...

Thanks!

The orange over the nose tells me that it can't be a chysurus. That's what keyed me into being a blueface hybrid. There is also a slight view of the back and I see something similar to an adult Koran.

Maybe this is a hybrid blueface/Koran angel.

The fish in the second pick is a kingii/emperor hybrid. You can see some variants of the kingii stripes with the "bullseye" markings of an emperor...

I swear, John, no one on these boards causes me more angst than you do! Its usually "sorry, ill post more pics," or "im on vacation, and have some pics id like to share," and now this! You need to give someone access to your computer and camera for a week already!

I've got a sneaky suspicion its the same fish in the two shots...

Anyhow,

I'll go with:
- Pomacanthus xanthometopon in Picture #1
- Morphed/Hybrid Emperor in the 2nd.

Oops. Read the thread too fast. Thought it was the same fish.

First, maybe blueface
Second emperor hybrid.

Alright, I want to offically change my guesses to it being a single fish, which is a P. xanthometopon x P. semicirculatus hybrid...

Okay okay... will you guys look at this friggin' fish?!?! Craziest and most exciting Pomacanthus hybrid I've ever seen with my own two eyes... I'll leave my already developed opinions out for now as I don't want to influence anyone... what are all your thoughts now?

Yes... a couple of months now with the new key... although it doesn't really look like a key... I can't believe I'm more excited about the above fish than the below! :)
